Kerry McGregor is a singer/songwriter and actor. She played Carol-Ann in the Channel 4 series The Book Group and has released an album this year. Kerry fell and broke her back when she was 13. She is mostly wheelchair bound but can walk with the aid of crutches. She has a very positive outlook on life and argues that her disability has probably enabled her to do things she might never had done had she been able bodied.
Robert Softley is a student at Glasgow University. Robert was born with Cerebral Palsy which affects his movement. He is a member of a theatre group. Acting is one of his passions.
Jill Daley is a graduate and is hoping to work in television. She would love to be a producer. She became blind very quickly when she was in her late teens due to diabetic retinopathy. In order to cope with the situation she threw herself into various projects in an attempt to keep busy. She says she had to learn to do everything all over again.
